If you can come early, arrive for dinner at 6:30pm. We’ll have a “Mini” trivia contest with some sort of prize… So study up this week! As always bring ideas for amazing Mini adventures for us to take in the upcoming year! Dan and I will be putting the 2012 calendar together for February’s meeting and need your input. (And photos?)

Your Mini does not necessarily have to be pristine (for example, I think there is a prize for the Mini that came the farthest – spotless or not) although exterior clean isn’t a bad idea… We are looking to make a “show” with Minis from every year Classic/2002-current. Here’s who committed at the last MPG meeting. It’s definitely O-K to have more than one Mini from any given year!

This adventure will include 3 timed runs on a challenging gymkhana course. Prizes will be awarded to the top drivers.
Please email mpgminis@hotmail.com to register for this event. The cost is $20.00 per driver, payable at the event (includes a dinner ticket). $5.00 of each entry fee will be donated to the Greenville food pantry.
Cookout note! Dinner for non-drivers will be available for $5.00. Two hot dogs or a hamburger, chips, and soda (hopefully a cookie too!). Please let us know how many guests we can expect so we can plan appropriately. Thanks!

The Patroon Holiday Party is fast approaching and will be held on Wednesday, December 8th. One of the best attended club events, the evening is always full of friends, give-aways, and fun. The cost will be $10 for members who RSVP before Friday, December 3rd, and $15 for both non-members and members who do not RSVP. Everyone will pay at the door on the evening of the event.
We usually see everything from tuxedos to camouflage, so dress to impress or dress for comfort. Cocktail hour will begin at 6:30 with dinner being served at 7 p.m. If you have any BMW/Mini pictures that you would like to share from this past year, please bring them along on a thumb drive. August 21 will be the first of many a Float Party at Neil and Lynn’s condo in Catskill, NY.
Activities to include: swimming, tubing, floating, screening of The Italian Job (new or old?), frisbee, wiffle ball, food AND snacks.
BYO: lifejackets, place settings, chairs, side dish or dessert, “adult” beverages.
Burgers, hotdogs, burgers made out of vegetables, buns, condiments, soda and water will be provided.
If you have tables, tents, projectors, a screen or are interested in helping transport items, indicate that in your RSVP. (I am not including addresses here so also request that info or a copy of the flyer in your e-mail.)

RSVP to Keeler by the 12. Plan is to meet at Keeler at 6:30 p.m. and “motor” up the Northway to the Malta Drive-In. Last year’s event was apparently quite large. Event is free, food and concessions, lots of MINIs included. Movie will be The Other Guys. See attached flyer:
