Well, it's been confirmed: I am truly a fountainhead of useless knowledge. Thanks Jamie for preparing and 'Vanna White-ing' the trivia contest! I know I had fun.

I'll post a notice on nemini

Got the RSB on - my new personal best time less than 2 hours including pulling out the floor jacks and scrounging for tools. Of course you don,t actually have to drop the subframe or the strut, nor mess with wiring or exhaust on the NA car.

You always gotta plead them down and use any incorrect information on the ticket to dispute. I handed the ticket that I got out of county few hours away to a lawyer for a few bucks.

Are you allowed to talk about the experience and not whatever proprietary future product may or may not have been seen? Sounds like an article for this site.

Last year some folks told of a MINI car evaluation in Brooklyn - participants got $200 - seemed too good to be true but it was for real. Well a few weeks ago I got a call from a survey group verifying that I am who I am and did I get a MINI in January, 2010 and would I like to join an evaluation in NYC and pass go and collect $200 - I nearly told them I would do it for free. I drove to Manhattan and registered - no cameras or cell phones allowed - signed an agreement that they could sue the hell out of me if I revealed anything harmful to our favorite sponsoring car manufacturer - so I cannot say anything about any proposed future product which 'may or may not' have been there. Also opinions were asked about golf, and euro models a-1 and 500. By the time our break out group discussions were complete nearly 5 hours had passed. Got back to G'land at night having driven just over the speed limit since I have a ticket (grrr) in process with the kind folks in Essex Co. who claim I was doing 81 on a snowy Northway in January in our SAAB - but that's another story. Anyone have any words of advise for minimizing such damages?
