Winter Karting with MoHud

Join Mohawk-Hudson SCCA for the first Winter Kart Series. If you are going stir crazy like the rest of us – THIS IS IT! Some MoHuders have planned a winter karting series at Checkers Out in Johnstown, N.Y. The first several dates have been worked out, and depending on turnout, the remaining season will be scheduled. All are welcome — read through the following details.

Details

Event 1 — Saturday, January 14 at 3 p.m. Event 2 — Saturday, February 4 at 3 p.m. Event 3 — Saturday, February 25 at 3 p.m.

MoHud Autocross 5 at Wilton Mall

This Sunday, August 22, Mohawk-Hudson SCCA hosts their fifth points event of the season. Our course designer always posts up course maps in advance, so if you want a peak at what it will look like, check the thread.

We return to Wilton Mall for this one. That will be exit 15 off the Northway. The usual suggestions and regulations apply. Registration closes by 10:15 a.m. but it’s advised to arrive at least a half hour prior to that.

The Wilton Mall lot is small, so it means a lot of circling and criss-crossing, but it’s also a simple course to follow, so novices are welcomed! Loaner helmets are available and all you need is a car that’s prepared to drive home after being roughed up a little.
